Specializing in film weddings means more than just showing up with a camera; it means understanding the flow of a high-end event and anticipating the fleeting glances that others might miss. I utilize multiple formats of film to give my work a distinctive, classic quality that transcends modern trends.
My goal is to provide a curated experience where you feel entirely at ease, knowing that every detail of your legacy is being documented with a discerning, editorial eye.
My mom did birth photography when I was growing up so I always knew I loved the idea of it, but it wasn't until I picked up a camera myself that I realized how freeing it was. This love for imagery continued when I went to college. I worked other jobs and sat in classrooms for countless hours thinking about how I could be doing photography instead. I quickly realized that I was created for more than working a 9-5 or sitting in a classroom. From here, I took my business full time and it has blown me away at the Lord's faithfulness.
In summer 2024, I got engaged to my elementary school sweetheart. This is when everything changed for me. I always loved weddings--the flowers, dresses, formals, and dancing. But falling in love with Josh made me love marriage. Suddenly I began to cry during ceremonies, notice the stolen glances, and rejoice in the covenant of marriage. We got married a year later, and now experiencing the blessing of marriage, I believe it has changed the way I view weddings.
My husband and I are elementary school sweethearts
(yes we were 10, you heard that right)
I road horses growing up and will always want to pet your dog
I take my film camera on EVERY family vacation. ask my family, they know I will be taking countless photos of them.
I have 8 younger siblings and 6 sibling-in-laws (including by marriage). So no, your family will not intimidate me!
I quit college classes to pursue photography full time!
I will always choose a good book and an iced coffee at home over going out
Above all else, my faith is the anchor of my life and the lens through which I see the world. I believe we were created by a intentional Creator, and my deepest desire is to live in a way that points others toward the profound, unfailing love of the Father—a love that I have personally experienced and been transformed by. This grace is exactly what drives my passion for storytelling. Because to me, marriage isn't just a grand party or a beautiful event; it is a sacred covenant meant to be protected, celebrated, and a reason for worship. Beautifully preserved for generations to come.
